A public gathering for people of diverse backgrounds and adult age to tell true to life stories about how love, sex, death and spiritual transformation have defined the course of their lives to a live audience. The event takes places on the first Saturday of each month. The gathering is not an open mic. As the host, Amparo offers her background as an actress, playwright-director, songwriter and former UT/ ACC teaching artist professor to support storytellers as they develop and present their life stories. A specific theme umbrellas the stories and the subjects vary monthly. Live music is also included.
